Kashif lives in a children’s home in Pakistan. He has been there since he was three months old. Now he is seven. Like any other boy of his age, he loves to receive some new things of his own. But he is without parents or other family members to care for him.
So it was a red letter day when he was invited to a children’s event earlier this year. There he was presented with a box full of gifts from Blythswood Care’s 2013 Shoe Box Appeal. He
was thrilled that someone loved him enough to prepare a gift for him.
And there the children heard a story about a boy called Samuel who listened to God’s voice. Afterwards Kashif said that he liked the story and that he wanted God to be his Father.
