Blythswood’s 2009 Shoe Box Appeal resulted in 128,000 gift boxes being sent to nine countries in Eastern Europe and Asia.  Individuals, workplaces, schools and churches from all over the UK contributed everyday items and sent a special message to strangers in need – somebody cares for you!
